Walrus Audio 385 gives you the sound of the amplifier section of a Bell & Howell film projector from the 1950s. The original amp is a 6V6-based small combo, which reacts sensitively to your playing dynamics.
Controls: Vol: Sets output volume level. Gain: Sets the level of overdrive and compression. Begins from mild overdrive at 7-9 o'clock. At around 4-5 o'clock the sound is heavily compressed and reminiscent of Tweed-era Fender amps. The overdrive sound is very lively in more overdriven settings. Bass and Treble: Tone controls for the pedal. Neutral settings are at 12 o'clock. Towards 7 o'clock the frequencies are cut and towards 5 o'clock they are boosted.
Power requirements: 2.1 mm 9 V DC center negative. 100 mA.
