Keeley Compressor Plus is the cornerstone of whole Keeley Electronics. The new version of one of the most popular compressor pedals in the world. Is at home on a stage as well as in the studio. Five controls give you a large variety of compression options.
Controls:
Sustain: Sets the amount of sustain. A good starting point is at about 9 o'clock. At 12 o'clock you will get a full sound that is a great fit for funk or lead playing, compressing the loudest notes and raising up the softer notes. At 3-5 o'clock, you will get a singing sound that feeds back easily. The noise level rises slightly from 3 o'clock onwards.
Level: Sets output volume level. Set at unity gain, or you can also use the C4 as a volume booster. If you want to do this, set the Sustain at 7 o'clock and set the desired level of boost with the Level control.
Blend: Sets the mix between dry and compressed signals. Allows you to retain the attack while increasing sustain.
Tone: Adjusts the tonal color of the pedal. Allows you to retain harmonics which are usually lost with compressors.
Single Coil/Humbucker Switch: Gives you two different release settings. The humbucker setting has a quicker release.
