Walrus Audio Julia gives you a modulation effect that blends seamlessly between chorus and vibrato sounds, depending on your settings. For 2020, building on customer feedback, Julia has gotten a welcome facelift. In and out jacks are now top-mounted, bypass switching is now click-less and art has been re-imagined and updated by illustrator Adam Forster.
D-C-V: Also known as Direct-Chorus-Vibrato. This setting adjusts the modulation type and intensity. At 7 o'clock you will hear no modulation. At 12 o'clock you will hear a traditional chorus effect which is a combination of dry and modulated signals. At 5 o'clock you will hear a traditional 100% wet vibrato sound. Between 12-5 o'clock, you will find unique combinations of chorus and vibrato with a lot of movement.
Rate: Sets modulation speed.
Depth: Sets modulation depth.
Lag: This control sets the center delay around which the modulation rotates. Affects effect intensity. Milder sounds towards 7 o'clock and more intense sounds towards 5 o'clock.
Waveform Switch: Two-position switch to choose between two LFO waveforms. One is symmetrical wave and the other is steeper.
